As Managing Partner and Founder of 121, Bob's role is to advise the clients and candidates of 121-
Prior to 121, Bob was Vice President of Worldwide Sales and Services for AlterPoint in Austin, where he managed field operations both in North America and Europe; Vitria's North American Vice President of Sales Operations; Founder and CEO of Ponte, an early leader in Enterprise Security Management; and Vice President of World Wide Sales at Inverse Networks, building sales from pre-revenue to $20 million in nine quarters before the company's acquisition by Visual Networks. Bob previously served as Vice President for Oracle's Telecom business unit, following sales executive positions at Pyramid Technology and Tandem Computers.
Bob's background, with more than 15 years in sales with software companies selling to the Fortune 1,000, includes Enterprise Cloud Applications, Big Data Analytics, Security, and Web Services. Bob has a B.S. in Business Administration from Regis University in Denver, Colorado.

Vice President, Senior Partner
Brian has been in field sales search since 1997 working with venture backed high technology companies throughout North America and Europe. His expertise is in enterprise infrastructure, having built sales organizations for venture backed companies in network infrastructure, applications, business process management, web services & security. Brian's business practice is focused in direct sales, field system engineering and channel sales for leading infrastructure companies in North America. Brian has an undergraduate degree from Cal Poly San Luis Obispo and a Masters Degree in Management from The University of Redlands in Redlands, California.

Prior to joining 121, Jack held sales leadership roles in multiple venture funded technology startups, helping scale these organizations from early adopter stage to annual revenues exceeding $350M. Jack’s sales operations background positions him with a deep understanding of the challenges of meeting short-term revenue targets while scaling the sales team to sustain growth.
Most recently, Jack was the first Vice President of Sales for CloudPassage an innovator in cloud security where he transitioned the company from a freemium business to an enterprise focus. Prior to CloudPassage Jack was the EVP of Sales and Business Development @ GoGrid, a leading IaaS provider where Jack led the company’s revenue transition to cloud services. Jack also held management roles at BigFix (now IBM) a software company focused on providing enterprises with Security and Configuration Management solutions; Data Management solution provider Princeton Softech (now IBM) and Portal Software a Customer and Revenue Management solution for Internet Service Providers. Jack has a B.S. in Marketing from St. Peter’s College in Jersey City, New Jersey and completed an Executive Education program at Babson College in Wellesley, Massachusetts.

Mark has extensive experience in Sales Leadership roles, having worked with industry leaders in Cloud Applications and Infrastructure. Mark has worked abroad, and led teams for large multinationals and start-ups alike, with companies such as: Japan Telecom, AT&T Global Services, and Wavecom Solutions. Mark started his career in technical roles, working with Voice & Data Communication solutions for enterprise companies. Prior to joining 121 Silicon Valley, Mark founded Techfit Resource, a search firm focused in Enterprise Cloud Applications, Mobility, Security, and Big Data Analytics. Mark has a B.S. degree in Computer Science from Monmouth University in New Jersey.
Valentina is a graduate of San Jose State University with a degree in Communication Studies. She grew up in the Bay Area, where she broke records for swimming and was 2nd Team All American for Varsity water polo in high school. She then took her athletic career to play Division I water polo at SJSU. Valentina has found her passion in meeting new people and connecting existing relationships. She is an avid Bay Area sports fan and loves live music. If Valentina is not in the office, she will be at a local sports event or concert.
